I am an avid collector of antiques and collectibles and have been for quite sometime now.
I was born in Augusta, Ga., grew up in Hendersonville, NC; making my way to New York City after graduating high school.
As faith may have it, I given an application that would evently enroll me in CUNY's SEEK PROGRAM that afforded me a BA degree at City College of NY and MA.
I have always been facinated with items of the  second-handed (hame - downs), collectibles and or antiques.
I begunn traveling abroad sometime ago and would like to consider myself an international traveler of the sort.
I collected items whenever I could. Some in far away places, such as West Africa, France, Morrocco and the Carribean (Puerto Rico, Bahamas and the Dominican Republic) to name a few.
Nevertheless, I have grown fund of antiques and collectibles, rescueing them whenever possible.
Here are but a few of one of my most prized collectings.
This collection includes approximately 100 natural polished amber stones with insect inclusions. The colors range from yellow, honey, red to gold, etc.
This is truely one of natures wonders of beauty because it takes at least 15 million years for these precious gems to materialize.
And to discover an inclusion of an insect is a marvel in itself.
Thanks for stopping by and I will blog you again soon with something unsual and unique.
